Detectives have released images of three men who may be able to assist police following a home invasion in the state’s north-west earlier this year.

Emergency services responded to reports of a home invasion at premises on Amaroo Drive, Moree, about 3.30am Friday 14 February 2025, after two residents were assaulted.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 58-year-old man at the scene for a broken nose, while a 56-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.

Officers from New England Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the matter.

Police have been told that two males – one described as 180cm tall, thin build with black curly hair and the second male described as shorter in appearance wearing a grey hooded jumper – entered the home by forcing entry through the front door.

The males left the location in two vehicles – a 2023-model grey Mercedes and a 2011-model brown Ford Territory – owned by the occupants.

About 30 minutes after the incident, the SUV was recovered on the Newell Highway, Moree, while the Mercedes was found on Edwards Street, Moree, at 4.15pm that same day. They were seized for further examination.

Investigations have established that three men – only described as having a thin build – were seen in the vicinity of Amaroo Drive shortly before the break and enter occurred.

As inquiries continue, police have released images of the vehicles that have since been recovered along with images of three males who may be able to assist with the investigation.

Police are appealing for anyone who has knowledge of the matter, are able to identify the males, observed either the Ford or the Mercedes being driven – or was in these areas at the time with any available mobile phone or dashcam footage – to contact Moree Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au Information is managed on a confidential basis. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
