Appeal to locate missing teenager - Canley Heights

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney’s south west.

Teresa Nguyen, aged 16, was last seen on Edward Place, Canley Heights, about 4.30pm on Monday 24 March 2025.

When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified on Wednesday 26 March 2025, and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Teresa’s welfare due to her young age.

Teresa is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm – 160cm tall, of slim build, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a white hooded jumper, black shorts, white shoes, and a black backpack.

Teresa is known to frequent the Sydney CBD, Bondi Junction, Burwood, Liverpool, and Cabramatta areas.
