Two charged over alleged drug supply - Auburn

Police have charged two people after an extensive investigation into a drug supply in Sydney’s west.
In November 2024, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command commenced an investigation into an alleged drug supply syndicate in the Auburn area.
Inquiries alleged a significant amount of cannabis was supplied from North Street, Auburn where drug supply had previously occurred, and search warrants executed.
Following extensive inquiries, about 2.10pm yesterday (Thursday 3 April 2025), detectives attached to Auburn Police Area Command, with assistance from South West Metropolitan Operations Support Group, State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad Operations Support Group, Dog Unit, Traffic and Highway Patrol Command, Bankstown Region Enforcement Squad and the Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit, executed search warrants at two locations on North Street, Auburn, where two men – aged 38 and 19 – were arrested from one location.
During the search, police seized approximately 900g of alleged cannabis and a hydroponic setup.
They were both taken to Auburn Police Station where the older man was charged with supply cannabis more than indictable and less than commercial quantity, possess cannabis more than indictable and less than commercial quantity, deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100000 and less than $5000, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises, and owner/occupier knowingly expose child to drugs.
The younger man was charged with supply cannabis more than indictable and less than commercial quantity, possess cannabis more than indictable and less than commercial quantity, deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000 and less than $5,000, and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
They were both refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court today (Friday 4 April 2025).
