Appeal to locate elderly man missing from the Central Coast

Police are appealing for assistance to locate an elderly man missing from the state’s central west.

Anton Manole, aged 80, was last seen on Boondilla Road, Blue Bay, about 9am on yesterday (Sunday 6 April 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District were contacted and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia and is partially blind.

Anton is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build and with short white hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with red and white stripes and blue shorts.

Police believe Anton may be driving a 2009 silver Mitsubishi Colt sedan with the NSW registration BLC10C.

He is known to frequent the Gosford, Dural, St Ives and Toukley areas.
