Images released as spectator brawl inquiry continues - Sydney Olympic Park

Police have released images in an appeal to identify several people following a brawl at a stadium in Sydney’s west over the weekend.
Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command commenced investigations following reports two people were assaulted during a brawl after a football game at a stadium on Edwin Flack Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park, at 8.15pm on Sunday (6 April 2025).
Members of the public and security intervened and those involved left the scene shortly after.
Police were told a 21-year-old woman was knocked unconscious while a man, also aged 21, was assaulted while trying to protect the woman. They were assisted at the scene by staff until the woman was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment for facial injuries and to undergo further testing; the man did not require hospital treatment.
Detectives investigating the incident have now released photos of eight people they believe can assist with their inquiries. All are described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern in appearance and aged in their 20s,
- Person 1 is described as being a man of medium build, with black hair, black beard, black glasses and at the time was wearing a hooded jacket
- Person 2 is described as being a man of large build, with a black beard, no moustache and at the time was wearing a black and white hat, light-blue hooded jumper, black pants and black sneakers
- Person 3 is described as being a man of large build, with ear-length black hair, full black beard and at the time was wearing black shorts, white shoes, a black and white checkered jacket with a football jersey around his neck
- Person 4 is described as being a man of medium build with black hair faded at the rear, goatee-style beard and at the time was wearing a football jersey, black pants and white shoes
- Person 5 is described as being a woman of medium build and at the time was wearing a beige headscarf, black glasses, a black football jersey, black pants and a long-sleeved black shirt underneath the jersey
- Person 6 is described as being a woman of medium build at the time wearing a navy headscarf, black shirt, black pants, black and white sneakers
- Person 7 is described as being a woman of medium build with red hair who at the time was wearing a white football jersey, a football scarf, blue jeans and black shoes, and
- Person 8 is described as being a woman of small build with mid-length black hair who and at the time was wearing a blue football jersey, blue jeans and white shoes.
