Appeal to locate teenage girl missing from Redfern

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney’s inner city.

Lekisha Chambers, aged 13, was last seen on Regent Street, Redfern, about 7pm on yesterday (Thursday 10 April 2025).

Officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for Lekisha’s welfare.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, of slim build with long brown hair.

Lekisha was last seen wearing a burgundy coloured long shirt, black boots, black jeans and a black backpack.

She is known to frequent Sydney CBD, Camden, Blacktown, Penrith and Redfern areas.
