Appeal to locate teen last seen near Lidcombe

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teen – who lives with special needs – last seen in Lidcombe’s CBD.

Mohammad Abukhalifa, aged 14, was last seen at Keating Street, Lidcombe, about 2.45pm today (Tuesday 15 April 2024).

Mohammad was reported missing to officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Mohammad’s welfare due to him living with a number of disabilities. Police have been told he has a fascination with public transport and the Royal Easter Show and likes to sit at bus stops to watch cars pass and sit by himself away from large groups.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 150cm tall, with a thin build, medium complexion, short brown hair and brown-coloured eyes.

Mohammad was last seen wearing a yellow shirt.
