Two teenagers charged following alleged stabbing, home invasion in Marrickville

Two teenagers have been charged after a teenage boy was allegedly stabbed in a home invasion yesterday.
Just before 5pm on Wednesday 16 April 2025, emergency services were called to Frazer Street, Marrickville, following reports of an aggravated break and enter.
Officers from Inner West Police Area Command were told about eight people wearing face coverings forced entry to a house and assaulted a 16-year-old boy inside the premises.
The teen sustained a number of stab wounds. He was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
Police were told the eight people left prior to police arrival.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following inquiries, police arrested two 15-year-old boys nearby. They were taken to Newtown Police Station.
The first boy was charged with affray, enter inclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, armed with intent commit indictable offence, custody of knife in public place and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
The second boy was charged with affray, enter inclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
They were both granted conditional bail to appear before a children’s court on Monday 12 May 2025.
Inquiries are ongoing.
