Man dies after being found critically injured beside road - Griffith

An investigation is underway after the body of a man was found on a roadside in Griffith this morning.

Emergency services were called to Watkins Avenue shortly after 4.20am (Monday 28 April 2025) and found a man suffering multiple injuries. He died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established with officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District commencing inquiries.

Police are investigating the possibility the man may have been struck by a vehicle.

A canvass of the area is now underway to confirm identity.
