Appeal to locate man missing from Ashfield

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s Inner West.

Matthew Sanger, aged 53, was last seen leaving an address on Liverpool Road, Ashfield, about 2.40pm on Thursday 30 May 2024.

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police have concerns for Matthews’s welfare.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of a medium build, bald and blue eyes.

Mark is known to frequent the Ashfield, Engadine and Sutherland areas.
