Appeal for assistance after lewd act committed on bus - Parramatta

Police have released images and are appealing for public assistance to identify a man after a lewd act was allegedly committed on a Sydney bus.

About 6.30pm on Thursday 2 May 2024, a man allegedly committed a lewd act towards a woman while on a bus being driven along Argyle Street, Parramatta.

Officers attached to Police Transport Command – North West were contacted and commenced an investigation into the matter.

Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 50s or 60s, with grey/white hair and at the time was unshaven.

Anyone who can identify the man depicted in the images or provide information that may assist investigators is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
