Pedestrian hit by car - Kanwal

About 6:30pm yesterday (Wednesday 12 June 2024), emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway, Kanwal following reports a pedestrian was hit by a car.

Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended the scene and found a 45-year-old woman who was injured. She was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Wyong Hospital for mandatory testing.

Inquiries are continuing.
