Appeal for information over Liverpool hit and run

Police are appealing for information after a man was injured in a suspected hit and run in Liverpool this morning.

Emergency services were called to Terminus Street just after 2am (Saturday 15 June 2024), after an injured man was found on the concrete median strip.

The 44-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital with head and leg injuries. Police have been told his injuries are not life-threatening.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command secured a crime scene, which has been examined by specialist officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit (CIU).

Police are appealing for the driver of what is believed to be a grey hatchback to contact Liverpool Police Station as they believe they may be able to assist with inquiries.
