Man charged with domestic assault in Bondi

A man has been charged with an alleged domestic assault offence in Sydney’s east.

About 10am today (Saturday 6 July 2024), police were called to an address on Imperial Avenue in Bondi following reports of a domestic dispute.

On arrival, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command spoke to a 31-year-old woman with facial injuries, allegedly as a result of an altercation with a 58-year-old man known to her.

The 58-year-old man was arrested and taken to Waverley Police Station, where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was granted conditional bail to appear in Waverley Local Court on Thursday 11 July 2024.
