Woman missing from Ermington found safe and well

A woman reported missing from the Ryde area has been found safe and well.

The 81-year-old was last seen in Ermington, about 1pm today.

When she could not be located, officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

About 5.10pm, she was found at a shopping centre in Carlingford.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
