Appeal to locate teen missing from Lake Haven

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the state’s north.

Alana Stephenson, aged 15, was last seen on Coverdale Close, Lake Haven, about 12pm on Tuesday 15 April 2025.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District were contacted and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns due to her age.

Alana is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, with short brown hair.

She was last seen wearing bright red lipstick, a brown “Tupac” hoodie with a face printed on the back, purple t-shirt, black jeans, black and white Converse shoes, and carrying a large black duffle bag and backpack.

She is known to frequent the Tuggerah Lakes and Wollongong areas.
