Update: Teenager killed in truck and car crash at Wilberforce

A teenage boy has died following a two vehicle crash in Sydney’s west.
About 4:35am today (Tuesday 19 November 2024), emergency services were called to Wilberforce Road, near Freemans Reach Road, Wilberforce, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and found a truck with a dog (trailer) and a hatchback had collided.
The male driver of the hatchback, aged 17, was found deceased at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
The male truck driver, aged 40, was uninjured and was taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police established a crime scene, with investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident on going.
