This permit is for a person wishing to become a firearms instructor. The permit authorises the permit holder to possess firearms in order to instruct and accredit Security Guards and employees of government agencies in the use of firearms. Section 28(g) of the Firearms Act 1996 & Clause 144 of the Firearms Regulation 2017 relate.
