Lodging a Report of Non-Compliance with SLED
SLED is responsible for administering NSW security industry legislation (Security Industry Act 1997 and Security Industry Regulation 2016) and NSW tattoo industry legislation (Tattoo Industry Act 2012 and Tattoo Industry Regulation 2023).
SLED will assess all reports of non-compliance received regarding the legislation and take appropriate compliance and enforcement action, as necessary.
All non-compliance reports received by SLED will be treated confidentially. You may lodge a report of non-compliance anonymously.
SLED investigates offences that fall under the NSW security and tattoo industry legislation. If your report relates to a criminal matter outside this legislation, or if you have any concerns regarding your safety or well-being, you should report the matter immediately to your local police station or the relevant agency.
